As I mentioned on my previous post about getting a laptop, so I’ve been browsing around looking for some details and comments for the new Macbook reviews since last night. But, I only found a few good links but only this one with a lot of user comments, engadget.com.
It’s a blog with 224 comments.
I noticed most of people complaint about the glossiness. Well as for me, I did try out the new macbook at the store yesterday and I didn’t find the glossiness bothered me at all. But, I agree with colour accuracy on glossy display.
Anyway if I decided to buy the macbook (pro or plain one), I won’t be using it as my main machine as I’m stilll using my old Power Mac G5 as my main machine. The macbook will be only for travel notebook and storages for my photography, browsing, checking emails and other fun stuff. But I won’t be using it for photo post processing or graphic editing.
I need to wait another few weeks and then get the notebook, I’ll be browsing around Apple forum again for weeks to get more on info and reviews.

So you are getting a new macbook? yay!
Yep, I am! I just need to decide which one I’m going to get. But I think it would be macbook, 2.4GHz + 4GB RAM. That’ll do for travel laptop.
Hey Leony. My opinion is that, unless you specifically need a FireWire port, the MacBook is now a better option than MBP. If you lived in the US, I’d help you get one at the education discount… The saving is not that big anymore, though. I got my CS4 install disks today!
Dan! Guess what. I finally decided to get the New MPB today! I’m feeling so anxious and excited at once haha.
And oh do let me know how you liking the new CS4. I won’t be be upgrading my CS3 yet, at least not until next year because I don’t think I need it for now.
Drool….
I think the CS4 upgrade is unnecessary, honestly. It seems an incremental upgrade more than a leap forward. Plus, Apple users get 32-bit while Windows users get 64-bit, and I actually want Adobe to be punished a bit (with low sales) for this decision.
Yay for the new MBP. I gotta tell you too that I am loving Safari 4. There are times that I get the beach ball of death but it is definitely faster than FF.
