Is the quality for student who studied in Universities are better than those who studied in Colleges?
I mean does it make any different? Does it mean that students who study in University are smarter than those who can only afford to study in some college? What’s the fuss about being study into big/good reputation University?
Sorry for the curiosity, this thought crossed my mind after reading my friend e-mail.
Anyway, I had a small “fight” with in-laws today.
I can’t stand it, so I shouted at my father in-law about why he keep defending her spoil pathetic daughter.
I just don’t understand, why is that every time she got her period it’s always every “Sunday” in each month since last year ! So she always had an excuse not to make dinner. I am so tired of making them dinner EVERY DAY! It is not my responsibility to cook for them everyday (She only cook twice in a month, I always count it : p). Damn! She is 35 Years old for God’s sake, and I am 10 years younger than sheis!
There are so many thing I want her to know about how HARD life it is, if you live outside independently without any help from families. I don’t think she knows how does it feels to pretend to be nice little girl to someone you hate so much in your whole life just because you need him to feed you. I don’t think she knows how does it feels when a step parent touch you and all you can do it’s just silence because he’s the one who feed you unless you are ready to fight “outside in a real world” in your 13 years old.
When I look at her everyday, I felt so angry and mad with how’s life treat her. Why she just got everything so easy without have to “fight” for life or at least doing a favor for people in return for the foods or money. She just got a new job last month and already drive a new car before she actually starts the job. She asked her father to bought her a car just because there is no public transportation to her new office (only 5 miles from our house). I can understand that though.
What’s astonishing me is, on her first day at work. She crashed the car, and her father paid about $2000 dollar for the damaged she made. Her salary not even close $2000 dollar lol. Well about the accident, I understand because she just got her driving license. She doesn’t even know how to park the car when she just bought the car.
Sometimes life it is not fair to some people. Some people have to fight for “food” everyday in their life, while others just so easy to throw foods they don’t like or don’t want it anymore, just like that to the trash can.
The other day, she threw away my Onigiri and Strawberry Yogurt breakfast; it was MY breakfast she have no rights to throw away the food. I was so angry and mad because I was hungry and in pain because my period, and I need to eat something so I can take the pill to ease the pain. But, when I opened the fridge, my mind goes like 10000000 volt lol.
“Where the hell is my yogurt and onigiri?” I probably look like Elmira. The Tiny Toon character with her eyes and tongue goes bigger when she gets angry LOL.
I’m tired of venting, am I finish yet? Yes for today: p
*I may be “young” to some people but, don’t ever try to educate me about life, because I had through the most horrible part of life I could ever imagine since I was a child.*
Aww.. Leony, I miss you! With the university vs. college thing. I think people assume that since a school is a ‘university’, it has a very high standard of education, which is just what parents like for their children. But in the end, be it university or college, it still depends on the teachers they hire, and the facilities they have.
I’m so sorry about your in-laws. Why are they staying with you? My mom has the same problem with my dad’s parents. She just can’t stand them, but she has survived them for almost 20 years now.. so just be brave.

University vs. College. I don’t think so. Maybe, it’s just so happened that more students who excell but that does not mean that Universities are indeed better. Just like a college and a University in my place.technically, the University produces more topnotchers and the College, less. BUT the college produces more bar exams (for law students) topnotchers/passers.
True. They throw food while there are millions of people in our world that don;t eat or who only eat once a day. Sad.
sebetulnya college itu bagian dari university, ny. banyak org yg salah paham ttg hal itu. gini maksudku. university itu (ini termasuk uni di seluruh dunia ya..) terdiri dari banyak colleges. seperti misalnya boston university, dia punya banyak colleges di bawahnya, dan setiap college itu konsentrasi di satu bidang khusus, example business, design, fashion, etc. misalnya lagi seperti university of london, di bawahnya ada LSE (london school of economics) yg konsen di economics + politics, trus ada Imperial College yg konsen di kedokteran sama engineering, ada LBS (London Business School) yg konsen di MBA, dan masih banyak lagi. tapi semua colleges itu dibawahnya university of london.
kalo aku rasa org2 merasa uni lebih bagus dari college karena uni itu kesannya besar gitu kali…sedangkan kalo college kecil. padahal ya benernya sama aja hehehe
banyak banget org yg salah paham ttg hal ini! tapi benernya di mana aja kita sekolah, yg penting kitanya sendiri kok. kalo kita emang mau tambah ilmu, we can do it anywhere. anaknya temen nyokap ada yg lulus dari uni yg bagus, tapi anaknya tetep aja nggak tau apa2 (alias goblok). ditambah lagi gara2 dia lulus dari “uni” jadi sombong abis!! padahal ngerti apa2 juga nggak hahaha…
ttg in-laws…emang kalo tinggal bareng mertua nggak ada enaknya sama sekali! i’m really sorry leony
moga2an aja in the near future leony sama hubby bisa pindah rumah sendiri ya..
ps: domainnya boleh nggak ya kalo aku kasih tau leony setelahnya aku pindah london (sekitar september gitu)? soalnya sekarang masih repot juga ^^;

Iya banyak orang yg salah persepsi antara college dan uni. Pada dasarnya tergantung studentnya aja.
Soal rumah sendiri, sebenarnya rumah yg sekarang ini rumahnya Naoya, rumah ortunya pas di sebelah rumah kita. Cuma bapaknya Naoya udah tua nga mau tinggal sendiri katanya. Si Yuki disuruh tinggal di rumah ortunya nga mau, alasannya kegedean ( maklum pemalas bwahaha).
Soal domain Soal domain anytime, tinggal kasih tau aja aku nama domainnya pas udah siap. Nyantai aja dulu lah

I don’t really have an opinion on whether one is better than the other. I think it boils down to what you learn and can use in the real job situations.
I’m sorry to hear that the in-laws are still causing you stress. Hang in there girl, you’ll be off to higher ed before you know it!
